Ellie Reynolds, a recent graduate from the bioengineering Medical Innovation Program at Rice University, serves as CEO. She brings medical device development knowledge from experience at Johnson & Johnson’s Center for Device Innovation and business experience from life sciences strategy consulting at Putnam Associates. Prior to Putnam Associates, she graduated summa cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a B.Eng. in biomedical engineering.
Tyler Melton, COO, recently received his MBA from Rice University,
concentrating on healthcare and entrepreneurship. He provides business acumen given his extensive work with medtech startups through his new technology strategy role at Johnson & Johnson’s Center for Device Innovation and experience in consulting with Accenture. Prior to joining Accenture, Tyler graduated with degrees in biomedical engineering and cellular and molecular biology from the University of Texas at Austin.
Erik Wu, CTO, is also a recent graduate of the bioengineering Medical Innovation Program at Rice University. He graduated magna cum laude from Rice with a B.S. in bioengineering and contributes technical expertise in medical device design from experience working in engineering roles at Establishment Labs and Rice 360° Institute for Global Health. At Rice, Erik was an active member in Tau Beta Pi.
Rocky Browder, CMO, is a vascular surgery resident at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM) and provides clinical expertise from over 250 surgical procedures that include vascular access. Through his residency, Rocky participated in the Medical Innovation Program at Rice University as well as the Resident Innovation Track through the Interdisciplinary Surgical Technology and Innovation Center (INSTINCT) Lab. Rocky attended medical school at BCM and received a B.S. in biology at Brigham Young University.
Jenaesha Browder recently graduated from Rice University with a masters degree in music. During her undergraduate degree, also at Rice university, she earned a double major in cello performance and music theory, along with an accolade for distinction in undergraduate research. Her extensive involvement with Rice’s music outreach programs lends itself well to her role as PM. In addition to her outreach, Jenaesha has performed extensively, winning awards and fellowships domestically as well as internationally.
